Henry writes to his brother William about the actions of his brigade's commander, General Lockwood. Henry dislikes Lockwood because he did not let them take down Confederate flags and he rebuked them for stealing a turkey from a local area. In addition, Henry includes a rendition of the song "Dixie" that celebrates Michigan and the Union.
