In this letter to George & Elisabeth Ditto, Thomas names several men that were killed during battle. Thomas explains that he has not slept in a tent since April 26th due to the Army's persistent service, but they will be putting up tents soon. Davis writes that he isn't an abolitionist nor a copperhead, but a proclamation man.
