James Bradish Letter : July 19, 1863

James received his pay and says he will send money home to cover certain debts. Later, he describes his observations while Union General William Rosecrans reviewed the troops. James writes positively about Rosecrans because he dressed plainly and made an effort to speak to the common soldiers.
