John Wheeler Letter : May 31, 1863

This is a letter from John Wheeler, a union soldier, to his family and friends in his hometown. Wheeler's company situated themselves on the Rappahannock River across from the enemy. Rumors have been circulating that the South will try to invade Maryland or Kentucky soon to rally the morale of their people.
