Simeon A. Howe Letter : August 25, 1864

Simeon notes that an accident occurred in camp in which a post fell on a Sergeant and killed him. He also tells Cindonia that he should be receiving his pay soon, to the amount of $112. He enclosed one dollar so Cindonia could send him stamps, which are unavailable to him.
