Simeon A. Howe Letter : February 21, 1864

Simeon notes that his Company has been on the lookout for Confederate General John Morgan's troops, who are rumored to be conducting raids nearby. He also says that smallpox is spreading throughout surrounding Union camps, and so he attempted to vaccinate himself.
