Mrs. Scofield Letter : November 23, 1862

A letter from Mrs. Scofield to family and friends, from a hospital in Cincinnati. Mrs. Scofield tells family and friends of her son Guy's condition, and that she has started secretly giving him medicine she brought from home which says is helping him to recover. She says that she has been sitting up late with Guy, and that the hospital has become very crowded.
