Fred includes a drawing of the guard house and the yard where they keep prisoners. He mentions that the African American man who shot a soldier in E Company was being held there and threatened by other prisoners. Fred talks about how almost all of the soldiers in his unit seem to have either diarrhea or constipation. He is eager to return home.
