U.S. President Barack Obama speaks during his visit in Laos
United States President Barack Obama, the first American president to visit the country of Laos, announces that the U.S. will double its annual funding to $90 million dollars over the next three years to expand efforts to remove un-exploded bombs dropped in Laos during the Vietnam War. Obama also talks about the importance of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), saying that failure to move ahead on the trade deal will not only have economic consequences but call into question American leadership in the region.
