U.S. President George W. Bush holds his last presidential press conference
President George W. Bush gives his last press conference as President of the United States. Bush thanks the press for their professionalism and then answers their questions. The President talks about the auto bailout in relation to the turn over to President-elect Barack Obama. He explains how he believes the Gaza strip can find peace through a ceasefire and negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians. President Bush refuses to answer questions on his plans for pardoning officials who performed harsh interrogation tactics. Bush wishes President-elect Obama all the best.
